First thing upon opening the drape at noon today was seeing A beautiful Cardinal at the Bird Feeder eating away. I told you they eat on the same time schedule we do. He was joined by his mate - a female Cardinal - and they ate and probably chatted about what each was doing today before going in opposite directions. Â
The day was fairly normal. I walked around the Patio in the sunshine while Joann hung up clothes. Then about 4 PM she got a call from Bill. He had to work late. With that she said to me "Do you want to ride into town with me to get the mail?" I, of course, said "Yes" and took off to get changed to my going to town clothes. I put a jacket on (that Pink Jacket again). I was shocked when I found that it had four layers. No wonder it was so heavy. There's a Vest, The second layer which is reversible and can be worn as a Wind Breaker or turn it inside out and you've got a Fleece Jacket. Oh,  and don't forget the hood. I wore it with the Wind Breaker out so that the Fleece was next to me in case it got cold before we got back home.
